Lol, every heard of the equal protection clause?

The Equal Protection Clause, part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, provides that "no state shall ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws".

The Equal Protection Clause can be seen as an attempt to secure the promise of the United States' professed commitment to the proposition that "all men are created equal"[2] by empowering the judiciary to enforce that principle against the states.

You argument is a miserable failure, just like you most likely are.

Exactly, see DC vs Heller.

And yes gay marriage bans are a violation of the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment.

Exactly, thats why I don't blame the 40 year old who slept with his 13 year old niece...I mean its not like he could choose his sexual fetishes or anything, it's just what he's attracted to.

I don't know of any place in America where a gay person can't get married like everyone else.

They are two different things....completely different. Why don't we just start calling white people black?

I'm for gay marriage but do not feel being a homosexual is a strictly protected class on the issue of marriage.

It has State's Rights written all over it.

they do have equal protection. They can marry a female if they choose, and I still cant marry another guy. Essentially equal.
