French or Italian?

Do you guys like French cuisine or Italian? I just thought I'd ask since there are so many other topics that don't belong here.

I prefer Italian, to much sweets in French cuisine.

Eye-talian of course, but isn't authentic Italian food very seafood based?

Argentine. Has a little of both, with Spanish as well. Not to mention it is land of the Beef.

Both styles, properly implemented, are amazing. French probably includes a wider range of styles, Italian maybe has a little more flair but in a narrower range of foods.

For any of you USAers who haven't had a chance to travel through Europe. Go get a passport, buy a ticket & come see what it has to offer. The diversity of style & culture in dining, architecture & lifestyle across the continent is quite breathtaking.

I'd imagine a lot of it is, pasta is probably always the main course though.

Lags behind Italy & France in terms of cuisine, but architecture, beaches & lifestyle are amazing, for sure.

If you go to Gibraltar, you can be standing on British soil, look in one direction to Spain, turn around & be facing Africa. Madness. There's a bigger stretch ofwater between the UK & France than there is between Europe and Africa.
