FOX NEWS analyst compares ISRAELIS to NAZIS

Fox News military analyst Maj. Bob Bevelacqua, a former Green Beret, appearing tonight on "The O'Reilly Factor," compared Israeli actions in Lebanon and Gaza with Nazi actions in Russia during World War II.

Bevelacqua, a long-time Fox News contributor, said the Israelis were unwilling to compromise in their conflict with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. He denied that the Israelis willingly evacuated from Gaza and Lebanon.

"Saying the Israelis pulled out of Lebanon is like saying the Nazis pulled out of Moscow," he said. "They invaded Lebanon. They invaded Gaza. They take homes and then they give them back. And they expect some type of great recognition."

Bevelacqua acknowledged he had business interests in Lebanon – a company that employed 30 people. His Fox News biography says he works with the WVC3 Group in Reston, Va., an elite security group that provides homeland security services, support and technologies to government and commercial clients. But a spokesman for WVC3 says Bevelacqua has not been with the group since 2003.

"They (the Israelis) lack the word compromise," Bevelacqua said. "They refuse to sit down and negotiate."

His resume also says he has a 17-year history of worldwide military experience, including combat in the Gulf War, riot control in Los Angeles, a peacekeeping mission in Haiti, security assistance missions in West African countries and numerous anti-drug missions on the U.S. border with Mexico.

Since democrats and republicans are afraid to say anything critical about this campaign (seize the chance to say how much they low Israel) we don't hear any kind of debate. Fox news pairs up a dem and a republican, only to have one voice. So different than the endless criticism from the democrats on our campaigns in the ME.

Glad to hear different perspectives on this. They are indifferent to the suffering of the Lebanese and will leave the place a shithole. They did not need to wage a ruthless operation like this

i couldn't agree more... there is no voice in america for disagreement with israel... is damn scary you know... both parties are owned by israel...

I love the clowns who rail against Fox news as though it does nothing but report propaganda .... Fox obviously has a right wing slant to its reporting, but it by no means even remotely excludes left-wing views. In fact Fox news generally presents a broader variety of views than the other mainstream news networks ... which aim to be objective rather than varied, and which steer clear of any viewpoint other than a slightly left apoliticism.

O'Reilly probably puts more truly left wing views in front of his viewers than the other 3 networks combined, ironically.

No, Fox puts on the worst examples of the "left" that it can find. I have yet to see Colmes call hannity on any of his bullshit.
