An interesting read. I'm not sure I buy a lot of it, but some parts were rather striking such as the comparison between the structure of the European Commission and the Politburo. The more I've learnt about it, the less I trust the European Union and the motives of those behind it.

Seems strange that he seems to accept european as a socially constructed identity but notthe nationalities, and how it seems natural to him that nations should exist but not unions of nations built like this.

I disagree with a lot of things the EU does, but anything which can dissolve our national boundaries a little more is something I support.

My government barely represents its people as it is, how is that going to get any better if we become part of an even bigger state? We can all get along fine without being forced by endless EU legislation and infringement upon our national sovereignty.
