A state of war exists whether or not there are guns being fired.
"An armistice is when the warring parties agree to stop fighting. It is not necessarily the end of a war, but can instead be just a cease fire. It is derived from the Latin arma, meaning weapons and statium, meaning a stopping.
A truce or ceasefire usually refers to a temporary cessation of hostilities for an agreed limited time or within a limited area. A truce may be needed in order to negotiate an armistice. An armistice is a modus vivendi and is not the same as a peace treaty, which may take months or even years to agree on. The 1953 Korean War armistice [1] is a major example of an armistice which has not yet been followed by a peace treaty."
With the exception of Jordan and Egypt which signed peace treaties with Israel, the other arab countries, such as Syria, are still in a state of war with Israel. They don't exchange gunfire every day, or even for years, but just as Israel showed when it blew up the Syrian reactor, it is still at war.
The exhange of entertainers or other delegations between belligerents doesn't change the FACT of a state of war, and doen't substitute for a negotiated peace treaty.
Get an education.

Countries dont send food and supplies to a country they are currently at war with.
could you imagine the Allies sending food and supplies to Hitler, during WW2, and then heading to Berlin for a concert?
its laughable.

Your ignorance is astounding.
Didn't you ever hear of the great Christmas party they had in WWI when the Germans and allies got out of their trenches and exchanged drinks, smokes, candy, with each other and sang Christmas carols together - and then went back to fighting a few days later?
There were many times in the US civil war when the same sort of thing happened.
Saladin and King Richard of England exchanged sent presents and delegations to each other while fighting the Crusades.
Come on, get an education, read some history. Understand what the rules of war are.

Those are two different wars.
Muhammad declared war by delivering ultimatums to the non-Muslim world in 628 A.D. The Muslim jihad began before the US ever existed, and continues to this day. There is no peace (salam) unless Muslims win a war and rule over what they have conquered. Under Muslim law there can be a ceasefire (hudna) for 10 years, but after that, or before, Muslims must initiate fighting again.
The Korean War began June 25, 1950 when S. Korea had free elections and decided they didn't want the Communists, so the Communists attacked. A peace could be negotiated between the parties, and there could be a reunification of Korea after a peace treaty.

How long was Syria "not at war" with Israel before it bombed the Syrian reactor a few months ago?
Who are you to say how long no shooting means a war is over? Did you ever hear of the Thirty Years War, or the Hundred Years War? Where did you study history and international law?
Face the fact that you are factually wrong, and do some grown up reading.

edited as a retort that you should understand since it uses your reasoning and logic that you wrote.
