It's not that good, don't make it out to be more then it is. Most work went into religion and although largely accurate apparently some of their so-called "facts" are blatantly false. I'm not a very religious person and ancient history doesn't exactly interest me much, but my best friend is a walking book on anything history related and has extensively looked into religion as well. I say it's fairly easy to find out about Zeitgeist.
I asked a friend to watch it and get back to me on the correctness of the historical parts. He had to shut it off the first time, .....suspense......,because he had gotten so bored watching the endless "wannabe mind-fuck" beginning setting the "stage".......relief.....That's also what I thought and I bet lots of people will think, how Hollywood immediately. That movie is so Hollywood, it's gotta be like the Matrix of CT movies. It doesn't make it work any better on Europeans at all. tey should do a European version without it. We just know instinctively it's gonna be really really retarded when we see that.
The movie is designed to [clue] *masterless enter* "Zeitgeist is like inhaling glue."
As a matter of fact most people lose their interest fairly quickly with it it, it seems like. I never reached In Plane Sight type of highs. Despite the promotion it gets people just don't watch it on the internet. It's far from a big hit in the community.
Here is a reason why it fails. It's not like the badly researched fantasy 9/11 part that's featured wakes viewers up from sleep. People following the CT stories, believing or not doesn't matter will already know most of part 2 is dumb. All you see is ancient history in terms of topics of debate and most of it has never been proven either.
So even if you like the history channel and kept your eyes open through part 1, part 2 still isn't very convincing to anybody but a total 9/11 CT newb.
There are debunkings of debunkings of debunkings of debunkings of the stuff they most endorse. It's the weakest evidence out there.
Here is an idea for a parody. "Zeitschleim, the scam."
All it needs is commentary to make it a good parody at least......"here the movie makers , that's us, potentially start simplifying the approach for the idiot, that's you, but in essence we destroy any credibility we might have left here.....and all of it just for your amusement."
I mean had they stopped after the religion part one could have said, yes there were mistakes, but it's largely correct. It just matches scientologie's philosophies instead of matching historical facts important to scholars of other religions, but so be it. At least people learn a little about stars and history they can expand on.
".....yeah we messed up part 2 completely and even worse we can't find anybody to blame, maybe we should blame you, oh that's right we can't blame the viewer.
,..........Errrrrrrr
...............hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm
.....................errrrr
..........................
you know what let's fuck it all together and we can give you a good Bollywood take on world financing matters linked to nobody at all to scare the crap out of you poor sould on a mortgage"
It's like this the viewer expects the resolving of the riddle and instead gets the biggest riddle of them all with no help whatsoever to unwrap any of it.
"What a success, here you want glue? So, hey,.....please rewatch our movie some time, pls link us all over the place......use these catch phrases:
Zeitgeist is a little better then Scientology on religion and history, which isn't much.
or
Zeitgeist is worse then in Plane Sight on 9/11 which is tough.
or
Zeitgeist is worse then money masters by far on money.
or
Zeitgeist fails to confuse intelligent people. "
I can tell you why it's worse then money masters. The grand scheme fits perfectly, but how and by whom exactly is that banking swindle being done, how was it set up and where in the law you can I find out about it? Not one word. Who runs it now, that one even money masters doesn't address and for a reason. but that's a different issue. The facts of history, where's anything moneymasters features? That's a problem.
They leave anything important out for some reason. The movie is too busy with getting the speech as close to hypnotizing as possible, there was too much money spend on music and feel and not enough time fact checking. There as much false as there is right with the 9/11 stuff at best. The film deliberately sets viewers up for failures confirming facts and further confusion among people that watch CNN for news on that part. It's just there to make you dismiss CT theories in conjunction with CNN propaganda and CFR think tanks and their strongest points of debate, you know the weakest arguments with little to no evidence.
That's why Scientology promotes the movie, too. I wonder if they financed it in hopes people would think: "Wow they got the religion right what other truth do they know they can give me". LOL
They don't tell you the truth in Zeitgeist. Hubbard spend a lot of time on religion in his studies as a poor science fiction writer, because you can steal cool stories from religion I think.
I don't even want to talk about who promotes the movie. Instead I'll randomly ramble about scientology a little for no reason at all, whatsoever, I swear by my TV.
Scientology makes nice money these days, they own half of Hollywood.
The movie Zeitgeist simply sets dumb people up with the Hollywood "our life is fucked, we are powerless" shit. Scientology running around picking confused people up in the cities.
Scientology has a great working scam and as they disconnects you from your friends and family, too, so you are unlikely to run across someone that can set you straight. I'll let you decide that for yourself. At this point I simply don't care about it enough to even check.
The more people unsuccessfully try to influence you, so you can finally understand that Scientology is bad for you, the more you think Scientology is your family, because it never said anybody else was bad. At first you don't think much about it, but then you probably start associating more with the nice people at Scientology communities. They are all trained to be nice and successful. They all went through hell and are held only by their fear that Scientology will be disappointed if they see weakness. It would mean hours of tough talk about your soul, your inner being, interrogations opening deep wounds and they'll give you guilt for that. At that time you are long passed the point where your former friends still spend time arguing with you. In the beginning you are impressed with Scientology and you have the choice to become a better person through cost at a nice Scientology place or debating your former friends about what they don't like about the way you think now and the way you want to live. So you might think at first, hey at least they like you and push you to be successful rather then arguing with you....By the time they start arguing you have no one left, but Scientology in your life, so you're fucked. That's when the going gets rough and you better work. Scientology like their actors good. Hollywood likes you when you are a good Scientology guy, but they'll encourage you to do anything as long as you make more and more money.
This is based on religion in the end as they need something to keep you busy with over years and what's better then the book of all books by different religions in different versions with many differences and a commentary to it. A commentary that is reinforced by giving rewards to those that repeat it best and most creatively paraphrase ideas, that any priest of any said religions could probably blow to bits and pieces quickly. At least you know the names right. Zeitgeist lends you a hand here. No wonder they have interest in it.
I bet you become really cool in the chuuch when you can link vague religous ideas in correct psychologist terms to real nasty individual problems in humans.
