The single largest denomoination in the U.S. is the Catholic Church, which could hardly be called Right wing.

Bush got re-elected after his first 4 years of atrociousness, so that leads me to believe that it's still in full mostion.

Regardless of whether it is 'falling', they still go out to vote in higher rates than ethnic groups like blacks.

Barely... The evangelical turnout was only slightly higher than the black turnout.

Since then, thanks to asshats like Robertson, Hagee, and Dobson, the movement has lost alot of it's steam.

If Obama keeps his lateral motion, dodging and sidestepping he'll be alright. He'll need to rely on his small quick frame to avoid Dobson's slower and ungraceful direct assault. If Obama trys to tackle Dobson head on he'll get KO'd.
