Vote for change

I think it's obvious to everyone that a John McCain presidency is going to continue on the path of Bush.

If you don't want that, then vote for anyone but McCain.

This election is our referendum on whether or not to change course. I say, hell yes (I'll either vote Obama, or socialist). If McCain wins, then we're stuck with 4 more years in Iraq, 4 more years of corporate giveaways, 4 more years of Bushism.

You might not believe that Obama could actually get us out of Iraq. Maybe he can't, or won't. But a vote for McCain is a vote that says "I don't want to get out of Iraq". It forfeits all right to complain about it, and for the public to try to hold the president accountable to it.

We're better as a country than Bushism!

Vote to change course!

Hey if you think we're on the right course, go right ahead and vote for Bush... er McCain.

However surprising numbers of people who are sick of Bush still support McCain, despite McCain's strident remarks on continuing and deepening Bush policies both economic and military. I'd appeal to those people --- just don't do it! How can you do it?!

A majority of Americans think the country is on the wrong track. They all must be from Berkeley I guess.

McCain has no stake in the future. Of the last three Pesidents in office, he will probably be the first one dead. You think he gives a shit about starting wars or social security?

Yea, I'm a socialist, and not ashamed of it. And it is true that the Bay Area has a strong socialist movement, as compared to most other parts of the country. However, even here we are not close to any kind of majority.

Normally I don't vote for Democrats, but the threat of a continuation of Bushism for four more years will probably get me to the polls for Obama. The country can't take four more years of this.

Well, it also means he probably doesn't care about making money.
