i'd like to be an optmist and think that things will improve in the near future, but the realist in me says it will be a bumpy ride in the next couple of years. the economy appears to be heading towards a recession and the blame game will start rolling.

Looks like between about 30 and 40 in the House pending final results. The Senate is really close. If the Dems don't lose anymore states they have the majority, and the last 3 states are all very close.
