You can't assimilate 20million people into a culture instantly!

You're right. They started out conning us with globalization of manufacturing which erased the livelyhood of many U.S. citizens. Then they started moving in their new Global Subjects to replace the Americans that they tore down.

Buchanan is being blatantly racist here.

It's not about the color of the skin, it's about the way of life, the values and culture that someone has. And culture is not racially determined. There is no such thing as "white" culture. Anyone with any skin color can participate in any culture. And historically, have.

America has people of all different racial backgrounds. I'm white, but there are people of all different racial backgrounds who live very similarly to me, and believe things very similarly to me, and with whom I interact with zero problem without having to think about what race they are.

Someone like Buchanan, who uses racial hate and fear mongering, only fuels everything that is bad in race relations. Once people start ignoring people like him, then we will as a society take a big step forward in truly judging people by the content of their character, and not the color of their skin.

It's not 'who' they're letting in, it's how many. We Americans got too comfortable with ourselves, the unions will protect us. Well, here's the end result; people willing to do the same job for less, and they actually work harder.

We, as a planet, are overdue for a major species eliminating event. Whether that is a natural disaster (volcanic activity, weather, fires, etc) extraterrestrial (asteroid/comet impact) or man made (nuclear/biological war with casualties in the tens of millions).

I'm fine with the way the planet and countries are going and I'm pretty satisfied that in my lifetime there will not be such changes that can't be managed. Now in the time span of two or three generations . . . well they are fucked.
