Yes I know I am in the Army, The also treat Afghanis, Kurds, Syrians, Pakistanis, South Koreans, countries of the Horn of Africa, etc. Do you want me to name off ever single person they treat. I am trying to show how retarded this guys post was. Medic is was of the hardest jobs in the military and one of the most traumitizing. Combat Medics deal with stuff on a day to day basis that would make you sick to your stomach and I have yet to meet one that didn't suffer from some sort of PTSD.

I was talking to him in the event that he was thinking about suggesting that they treat the murderers, which makes them equally guilty.

Look the medic plays his part in combat operations. The medic often sits back with the commanding officer but ofter goes foward to treat the injured as well as take part in kicking doors down and the like. I think the publics idea of a MASH medic from the Korean war (today its CASH medic) are quite a bit different than reality. The bottom line is that if your a medic in a combat patrol unit you are likely to take fire as well as return it---your just as likely to kill the enemy, especially considering the fact that the medics job it to go foward and give aid to someone who has just been injured (often shot). By that the Medic is exposed to a good deal of risk and may often take up a fighting posture in the process (in order to defend himself from the onslaught of fire, all while attempting to give some sort of aid).

I know the Medic is supposed to be a defensive component of the Combat Infantry but in reality the lines often become blurred.

Metro in Vegas (and I assume other places) is fucking untouchable. A while back, they shot a handcuffed, fleeing suspect in the back and killed him. Another time, they shot a dude in his car for playing music too loud. Recently, they killed an ice cream lady.

All were justified. I'm not a cop hater (any more than the average black male hates cops, anyway), but they can seriously do no wrong here. Scares the shit out of me.
