Hezbollah's recent actions
I thought it was kind of interesting that nobody in here is talking about Hezbollah flexing its muscles in Lebanon over the last few days. I was out of town and saw some of it on TV and in the papers (though admittedly nothing too in depth) and I kind of expected when I got back today I'd see plenty of chatter in the WR on it (given the multitude of threads on the ME). Seems like it's not even on anybody's radar though. Found it a bit interesting.

the War Room has been recently inundated with anti-Israel stooges.
This results in little interest in criticizing Hez, since they are also an enemy of the Zionists.
Of course, Hez is not just anti-Israel, they are anit-Jewish, like i suspect many of the so-called Pali supporters here.

Shia militias (hezballah) stormed beirut. They have been able to push the sunni's around, but the christian militas will be able to stand up to them. Usually things look worse than they actually are in Lebanon, but from what I have read it is way worse than it looks in Lebanon right now and people are preparing for another civil war.
If someone with leverage on Iran steps in it may be possible to push hezballah back, but it looks really bleak right now. |
