Here I sit tonight, outside, on the front porch, listening to people getting an early start to Independence Day by illegally exercising their freedom to enjoy whistlers, fountains, sparklers, spinners and snakes in our beautiful asphault jungle that is San Jose.

Fireworks are illegal in Cali? They're are illegal here in Illinois, but I drive to Indiana to buy them. I just got back inside from blowing them off in the parking lot in my apartment complex. After blowing off numerous mortar balls, saturn missile batteries and monster bottle rockets, I was only threatened once by the neighbors I had to call it a night. But others in my complex one upped me and managed to have the police cruise through here for past hour

30 minute drive for me, have to go to Missouri to get fireworks
