Who's the strongest candidate to take on John McCain?

After 45 contests, Senator Obama has won more delegates, twice as many states and territories, and more of the popular vote. He's won in every part of the country, and has scored victories among every segment of electorate. He's inspired Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, building an unprecedented coalition of more than 1.4 million contributors. And when it comes to head-to-head match-ups versus John McCain, Obama performs better than Clinton in key states and shows the potential to put new states in play for Democrats up and down the ballot.

Polling data from across the country, from large states and small, reflects the advantage Senator Obama would bring in a race this fall. His ability to expand the Democratic base, and his ability to capture the crucial Independent vote, make him a stronger candidate than Senator Clinton, who would enter the fall campaign with the highest unfavorable ratings of any nominee in half a century.

A week ago, I thought that Clinton's efforts to stay in the race were more of an ego trip and futile at best. It is going to take a miracle for her to finish with more popular votes and delegates by the DNC.

Now, I think the superdelegates may actually hand her the nomination anyway. The Clinton machine is running full steam ahead now. Politics at its best.

I'm sure that will be real cool with Black America and won't cause increased racial tensions in the country during bad times that are continuing to get worse. Personally, though, I hope they do. So we can go ahead and iron out all the racial issues.

You want to solve poverty, you limit the number of children you can have based on family income. It is irresponsible for poor people to have children, and they should have to face the consequences of their mistakes.


and LOL at the person from georgia thinking Hilary is only in the race because she is a woman. Last time i checked she was only getting like 60% of the female vote, while Obama is getting 90% of the black vote.

So either 90% of black people are poor (since only poor people will benefit from Obama), or racism is the reason Obama is winning.
