They have no compunction or morals (like a lot of prominent nations) so this is no surprise.
Chinese didn't think there was anything wrong in selling dangerously unsafe / blatantly misrepresented goods to consumers all over the world.

It's quite brilliant actually, give everyone weapons and make billions of dollars off of them, and set idly by while they fight amongst themselves and destroy one another.
|
Not to mention they are dumping over here to destroy domestic mfgs.

I try to avoid Chinese and buy local but sometimes you got no local choices or need something immediately or you just don't have the funds. It gets impossible with certain goods that have multiple parts made in many countries .
I don't blame them for selling their stuff here, its the American importers, mfgs, distributors 7 gov that are responsible for that. What I do blame the Chinese for is willful disregard for safety, like when they substitute inferior and or toxic substances in a product and pass it off as fit for consumption.

Funny how everybody started giving a damn when oil is involved. I don't remember the same level of bitching from Europe and U.S about Rwanda in 1994.

It is pretty awful, not sure how any moral person can make the decision to support a genocidal government

With the money they have invested they'll probably own whatever puppet takes over after his demise.

China has been doing some shady stuff in Africa. I remember one report of them spending a few million on building a few structures and in return getting access to all the fishing area off the coast of that country.
