This is after the fact. Your original statement about disenfranchisement and trying to lay the blame at the feet of Obama still rings false. The DNC stripped these two states of their delegates. Even if both Hillary and Obama agreed on some way to redo the elections in Michigan and Florida, it would still be up to the DNC to decide whether or not any delegates would be awarded.

Well, first he agreed to the DNC's decision (as did Hillary) to disenfranchise votes of millions of people in both FL and MI. For someone who is campaigning to be the anti-establishment candidate who would bring people together he should have said, no way we don't count the votes of all these people. But no he did what is convenient to him. He agreed not to campaign there and didn't even put his name up for Michigan's primaries.

Then when the opportunity presented itself and he was offered with a proposal to redo these states without cost by tax payer's money he refused. Don't give me that it's up to the DNC crap because the DNC would have loved to count these states if both parties agree to get themselves out of the mess they are in.

Obama is not acting like he is the candidate who wants to bring people together. On the contrary, he wants to eliminate votes that are not in his favor.

well they shouldn't do stupid shit either. This protecting your "team" is bullshit. When someone criticizes Bush you hear the douchebags "well Clinton did this..." or somebody criticizing Obama "well bush did...."

Obama's misspeak was a slip of the tongue. He meant 47 (4 primaries are left - Oregon, Montana, South Dakota and Kentucky). McCain's repeated error showed a lack of understanding the miliary situation in Iraq.

It's not Obama's fault that MI and FL violated the rules of the DNC and had their delegates thrown out and votes not counted. Obama is in full support of a revote or compromise being made (e.g. split the delegates) to have those states represented. It's not fair to him that the delegates be seated as is. His name was not on the ballot in Michigan. He didn't campaign in Florida out of respect for the rules of the DNC. If the DNC cannot come to a compromise on how to seat the delegates it is the faut of the primary organizers. They are to blame for the voters being disenfranchised.

It was clever of Obama to stage Edwards endorsement announcement in Michigan. He will try to improve relations in those states as they will be important in the general election.

Disenfranchised?????

They broke party rules and moved their primaries forward. How is that Obama's fault? Both Obama and Edwards agreed to abide by party rules and not campaign/run in those 2 states. Hillary decides to go against part rules and wage a 1 horse race in these 2 states. What happens when there is only 1 horse in a race?

A female horse in a race usually breaks both of her ankles. Duh.
