It seems to me, that there exists an ideological establishment in this country (we won't mention any names) that seems to be overly fixated on the issue of race, to the point of being counter productive. Why are we asking these questions: " is America ready for an African-American President", or, " will Americans vote for a woman"?

When asking questions such as those posed, we are already opening the door for devicevness.

As already many have pointed out: you should vote for a canidate based on their merits and positions rather than race or gender.

Fair enough. I should've put Israel OR Palestine.

Either way, my point still stands. You guys could find a way to blame Israel for any negative thing that happens.

Maybe AIPAC doesn't want Obama in office because he uses seemingly the least harsh rhetoric when talking about Hamas and other anti-Israel groups in the ME, but Israel will have the U.S.'s support no matter who's president.
