I'm not a cop, but I just put down my first deposit for law school, so I do have a very good education in my pocket.

Oh really? Every single story you've told on these forums about your encounters with police officers have somehow involved you coping an attitude with him (e.g. "I called him every name in the book," busting a cop's balls for investigating what looked like a rape in progress, etc.). I've been in similar situations that you've been in and not once did it turn out the way it did for you. The difference: the way I handled myself during the whole ordeal. During my freshman year of college, I too was busted for drinking in the dorms by both the dorm security guard AND by the resident advisor (AKA: the "dorm cop") but did I lash out by calling them every "name in the book?"
No.
Did I insult the background of someone I didn't even know by calling him an ignorant, uneducated, fascist pig of the authoritarian state?
No.
Did I realize that I had broken the rules I had agreed to uphold upon signing the student housing contract and should take my punishment like a responsible adult?
YES!
I cooperated with both the RA and with the dorm security guard and after I interviewed with the dormitory conduct coordinator, I was let off with a warning based the recommendations of the very people who had busted me while the others (i.e. the ones who coped an attitude with the RA and the dorm cop and didn't even bother to show up to their meeting with the conduct coordinator) ended up with dings on their permanent records! I saw both of these individuals again later on down the road; they didn't hassle me, they didn't try to cockblock me if I was bringing a girl back to my dorm room, nothing; they let me be. Why exactly do you think that is?
Another scenario was when I was pulled over for a speeding ticket on my way back from Houseboats (yes, Houseboats; I'm not just some squarish booknerd). Did I call the guy who pulled me over a fascist pig?
Nope.
Did I flip him some crap about him violating my Fourth Amendment rights?
Nope.
Did he still write me a ticket for going 86 in a 70, but waive the $300 penalty for driving with an expired registration based upon my courtesy and respect?
Yep.
Imagine that; a little respect actually got me OUT of trouble!
I don't know why you feel the need to act like a punk every time a cop is around (Inferiority complex? Bad experience? Just cuz?), but a little respect goes a long way in this world and, until you realize that, your experiences with law enforcement will continue to be negative.

I pray for you, Xenu. Really, I do; you're quite obviously a very angry, self-destructive individual and I can only hope you find the help you need and soon.
