Also, I am capable of viewing things from other perspectives; I understand that there is always a cop perspective. And it almost always gives the cops the benefit of the doubt and characterizes the cop's actions in the best possible light, while casting the highest suspicion on the 'perp' and portraying his actions in the worst possible light.

Also, I skipped the part about knowing that exact same cop years, as he had formerly worked as a security guard at my college. He had quite literally broken up a keg party in my dorm and confiscated my keg and tap one night in his capacity as a college public safety clown. I'm pretty sure that in my drunken anger I called him every name in the book and that he had wrote me up for disrespecting him.

So when he pulled me over a few years later and hassled me I knew it was personal. After getting out of the car and jumping through hoops it was clear that I was going to pass every test. Finally after enough bullshit drunk girl called out, "Waz taken' so long?" like a dumb drunk broad. At that point he totally focused on her. He went from total dickhead (to me) to Mr Niceguy wannabe rape counselor in a fraction of a second. "Is everything alright ma'am? Are you sure you feel safe with this guy? Has he hurt you? He wont be able to hurt you any more if you tell me what happened." Blah blah blah. She kept telling him to leave us the F alone.

I'm pretty sure his goal was to cockblock me. Which is funny because the girl wasn't that hot in my opinion...but she would have been a real prize for a loser like him.

Then after she closed her front door it was a 10 minute conversation which alternated between him grilling me and lecturing me. And you gotta stay on your toes when cops act uppity like this, because they'll throw your ass in jail for resisting arrest if you tell them to go fuck themselves.

Anyway, my story sucks. I haven't thought about it in years and I'm not sure why I'm talking about it now. It's just one example of a cop being a power-tripping asshole. I have a few other stories like that. Of course there are millions of other stories about cops abusing their power.

Your story is actually pretty good. Now that you explained how that cop might have something personal against you it's very convincing that was his motive. The fact that he was a college dorm security guard also helped. A lot of those guys seem to have a convenient disdain for education and educated people.

None of those describe how I was in college. I was just lazy and drunk and I hate hippies. To tell you the truth I never saw the security guards around the dorms unless there was a party that needed to be broken up. They didn't establish much of a presence there. I'm sure they were just sitting in their office until enough complained for them to do their job.
