Oh, so now it's the educational system at fault, not the students who didn't pay attention in math class, and thus ruining their chances to pass a PD math exam, and thus making them victims of the racist policy of the PD which the PD wasn't trying to be racist with but was accidentally racist with since the minorities had trouble passing it? Federal is the way to go if you can get in. Pay is twice that of local. Applying and hiring process takes years though. Good luck, be patient!

Again, you obviously don't know what the purpose of math is in the development of the human mind. It isn't about literally needing to calculate numbers, it's about having critical thinking ability. You obviously don't know that because those concepts are things that are taught in college, and then realized later in life. That is why math exams are good because they show the level of mental development, not the ability to multiply 5 x 5. Although, obviously, it does show somes lack of ability to do simple math.

BUT, once again, you failed to explain how a BASIC MATH TEST is racist in the hiring process? You said you think it is irrelevant (you are wrong about that) but you once again failed to explain how it is racist.

Racist vs irrelevant are two different concepts. How is the math test racist? You have dug yourself into a hole here, you need a good response to save face.

I've taken the written exam with two different departments. The math questions that they had were very easy. They're just simple word problems that require arithmetic. The math portion is not meant to discriminate against minorities; it's made to discriminate against total idiots. Any 5th grader should be able to pass the math portion of police exams.
