No. They aren't. We explain very clearly: If you fail the math test, the written test, the psych exam, the lie detector or the PT test, you will not be hired.

They failed the math test. They were not hired. How is that racist? How is that "making up" reasons to not hire minorities?

You are shamelessly avoiding this debate. HOW is the math test racist? How are any of the tests racist? Every gov't job ad says EOE and "females and minorities encouraged to apply". Most police departments require at least 2 years college by CALEA cert standards, 2 more than you have. Many require 4 year degrees. So, that argument is down the drain for you.

I have no beef with anyone in this thread, nor do I consider myself close to any one of you. In other words, I have no allegiances to anyone participating in this thread(or sherdog for that matter). So I have to say this, bulldogs position on the math test is quite logical to me. Its a sound argument, explanation and position. So I dont really think the african americans and hispanics failing the math test on average more so then caucasions is evidence of racism on the PDs end.


Im probably more qualified to be a police officer then 70%+ of the guys on the force around here but could give a rats ass about working for them or with them. My experiences have just been to negative to even make that a consideration anymore.

Going federal anyway.
