SO....the test wasn't racist. It was a simple math exam, just raw numbers. Plus, minus, multiply, divide. JUST MATH. And they are arguing that while the test wasn't racist, simply the use of it was, because blacks and hispanics failed at a higher rate than the whites did????

Let me try to understand this. If a minority performs worse on average than whites on a math test used in an application exam, then the use of the test must be racist, and thus the department is racist for requiring a simple math exam of it's applicants.

Please, explain to this pig how that test was racist. It was a math test. A simple math test, which was labeled a "racist" test and the department was labeled racist simply because they used MATH TEST.

I'm still in a bit of dibelief over the last post I made. They are saying Virginia Beach PD was being racist, not on purpose, but because they were using a simple math test in their application process, and since blacks and hispanics were failing the test more often than whites then the only logical outcome was it had to be racism.

Amazing. And the guy on this forum used that as "proof" of racism at that. It shows the kind of genius minds there are on the cop-hate side.

Hey smart guy, did you read his link? It said the VA Beach police was being racist by.....gasp.....using a math exam in their application process. A basic math exam. They said that while the PD wasn't acting with the intent to discriminate, they did so because blacks and hispanics failed the math test more often than whites- THUS- it must have been racism at work.

Please, I'm just a piggy needing some explanation so I'll be sure I don't become racist be requiring any other racist tests- such as driving, shooting, etc. I'm sure there are countless tests that I thought were fair, but are obviously racist. I mean, a basic math exam? RACIST? Who knew??? I've been administering this racist exam to applicants for 2 years now.
