Ha ha. Don't you hate it when you are near the end of shift, and pull someone over to avoid being dispatched to a report generating call, and hope that you can spend a few minutes on that traffic stop, give a warning, let the other team check on, and then the dreaded......"Unit *** be advised subject you are out with is possibly (fill in blank) for (fill blank) out of X city....standy for further."
Just want to kick yourself in the ass sometimes.

You have been around shitty industry jobs WOW you can get that little bit of experience just hanging with a Temp Agency for a few months.

I'll clarify, I work as a COP in the town I described. It's a blue collar place with a large gang/drug problem. I would have thought it was explained by my telling you about making felony drug arrests but I guess not.

On his eighteenth birthday him and my cousin were arrested and he was extremely plastered and giving the cops a hard time. Obviously they were roughing him up 4 to 1 and I understand the idea of subduing somebody to arrest them but the one dude was kneeing him in the back of the head and then giving him the very unneccessary slap in the face once he was stood up.
Brian kept telling him he would stomp him out if it was 1on1 and this officer was really being strained mentally and decided he would take off his badge and gun and uncuff my dude to "show him a lesson". My buddy brian , who was hammered, was beating the piss out of this "big bad cop" until the others jumped on him again and restrained him violently again.
All this being said, Inked with all your "superior" training I would probably stomp you out 1on1

How does one manage to knock out numerous people in bar fights by age 18? I've been going to bars my whole life- a lot more when I was younger, but occassionally now too- and have only been in 1- in college. Sounds like he was a trouble maker anyway.

It works. That is why you can't comment on it with anything of substance. Enjoyed the debate fellow Ron Paul supporter- yes, I support Ron Paul.

One thing that quickly brings my blood to a boil is when cops lecture some poor guy as if the cop is some fucking life coach. You see this on almost every episode of cops. Is this part of his job description? Why do cops think they are expert psychoanalysts? It strikes me as the epitome of self-righteous arrogance.

Yeah, he said you can get the same experience hanging around a temp agency? Yeah, that makes sense.

He was in numerous bar fights after this event, I just put it into wrong context. The cop was the troublemaker, they were stopped for walking down the street drunk hardly an offense that should be dealt with brute force. Anyways I was just adressing Inked because he sounds like he's such a hard ass, I guarantee hes the cop who calls for 3-4 cops back up for every one of his traffic stops.

Wow another keyboard MMA warrior. First off shit for brains. You don't know me. Thats number one. Number two you have not a clue as to my training and life experience. Until then you can sit here and type away because that is all you are good for. In person I guarantee your tune would change. Guaranteed.

Actually most of us hate that too. The majority of us think of our job as a chess match between us and the career criminals (that's who we spend 90% of our time dealing with) That guy lecturing people on the street and trying to make them change their lives is a douche bag. Also for the record COPS is not an accurate portrayal of police work just as "The Real World" is not an accurate portrayal of the real world.
