Somewhere in Purgatory, Timothy McVeigh is shaking his head at this amateur night performance. Then again, 19 kids and 3 fetuses is a tough act to follow.

Nope. I used the word sight instead of scope. I meant scope. This is of course an irresponsible shot, but not as difficult to pull off as you are suggesting. Especially on a down grade.
The boy likes to mess around and shoot alot. You may think my story stinks, but it is the truth. How far exactly to a tee is the shot? I can not say. Just taking a guess. He constantly fires at around the 1500 ft range with more than average accuracy.(I dont actually measure the distance) He has his "place" Which is in top of one of our barns. He fires like I said on a huge downgrade. (The barn is atop a hill)

I find it amazing that you guys defend this murderous bastard, his radical faith, and his motives so profusely, yet attack our country and it's supposed atrocities and racism so easily. You guys hate the US a lot more than you hate the terrorists and this killer. It really is unbelievable. The people who got shot are men and women who serve you. Who protect you. I see nothing but disdain by you people for the victims, this country, and what we stand for.
This radical egalitarianism and morale equivocal arguments are not reality. All I see from the left are a bunch of mentally ill people defending a mass murderer because they somehow need to feel politically correct. Somehow the US is wrong for being at war against Islam. It's somehow "our" fault that these people commit terrorist acts against innocent people. To you wackos and loons, the terrorist, radical islam, ect, are NEVER held accountable for their actions. You're very quick to denounce the US with contempt and disdain, but you never have the balls to denounce Islam for the rampant violence that exists within it's ranks.
Go ahead and visit Iran. Go try and protest the mullahs over there. See what happens. Go to Cuba. Go blog and dissent from the government. See what happens. Try dissenting in China. Russia. All these wonderful places that are supposedly so much than the US. I've even seen people on these very boards hoping that Iran gets the bomb. You want to see what Iran will do with the bomb? take a GOOD look at the carnage at Ft. Hood. These people are not rational human beings. Stop with the sycophantic spin already.
|
You're fear is so obvious. These are the same rationalities used for many American interventions -Philippines, Hawaii, Nicaragua, Honduras, Cuba, Vietnam, Guam, Iran - that these people were not rational human beings. Then in hindsight, we realized just how foolish our goal of controlling them was, and how many lives it cost.

Which to me makes the shot even harder. Also, it's into one of our pastures. No brush. The deer frequent daily. It is no challenge to pick them off. The challenge is of course in the shot, and where he chooses to be. I myself would not attempt the shot unless it is purely for fun. We have a few Oak trees in the pasture and I have an old stand there. I myself don't even use a 30/30. If I told you what I use you would call me a liar so it doesnt matter. However, I might decide to post a pic of my rifle. You would orgasm!

Seems to me that even the least intelligent people would conclude that some fit into one group, while most fit into the other group. But, you were so excited about being able to call me a liar and to give your blind PC support that you failed to observe the obvious. Great job. Here come the dubs.
Back to the topic; I’m trying to see if our resident Muslims fall into category A or category B. Mordecai, you seem to have missed my point or mistook my intentions. The point is this; Most Muslims that I've talked with put Islam ahead of country. In other words, most Muslims in the U.S. are residents of the U.S., but citizens of Islam. Their faith will come before country every time. The lack of clear responses to my questions seems to support this concept. So, it seems very clear to me that allowing a Muslim to become a soldier is quite slippery. It also seems very apparent to me that when you ask a Muslim soldier to do his job, a very dangerous situation might occur. This Major might have had the best intentions upon joining the Army, but his commitment to his religion won out in the end. How many more times can we expect similar occurrences?
On a side note, while I was in the Armed Forces, I served with, and became good friends with a few Muslims. Two of them participated in missile strikes against Iraq and didn't hesitate. Another, who came to us after our time in the Gulf, made a bold statement that he would never participate in combat against other Muslims. How did this clown get into the Navy? Should we give more scrutiny to Muslims who want to serve in the military? If so, how can we do it?
