They should just remove all the chairs until the Pledge is recited, then unstack the chairs and begin class. Problem solved.

Nah, you know some asshole will just sit on the ground anyways. Nevermind.

Kids need structure, and they need to be taught things. If we don't require the kids to stand, they may never begin to understand the history of the flag, and what it means to be an American. They will never appreciate our freedoms, because they will always be taken for granted.

It isn't "totalistic" or fascist, etc... it is simply giving students the knowledge and structure of what the Republic stands for and more importantly what it was like when the Brits were pushing us around.

Our freedom wasn't free!!!

Oh, and we should be allowed to grow pot.

In a strangely masochistic way, I was kinda expecting you posting here and in this way...still sucks though.
Hey, I gotta support my country, right?

Plus, what would the War Room be without some war?

Reppin' nationalism fo' life.

its not free if their parents pay taxes, I never stood for the pledge.
The individual taxes paid by anyone individual or family are not enough to pay for a single year's tuition.

You ought to stand up for that, though. It's your country and the principles that back that up. Pride and loyalty should mean something, man.

Conservatives have the most infantile, sycophantic, creepy concept of patriotism.
Better a "warped" sense of patriotism than none at all.

It is not my fault I don't hate my country. I know it makes me uncool and all.

Fuck expelling them. They should be drawn and quartered am I right?
I'd watch and laugh, probably.

I have very little care for little anti-American pissants.
