So where does the line get drawn at what you are allowed to not comply with? What if you wont stand? Ok sit and be quiet.

What if you wont be quiet?
Leave class? Then the headline would say " student kicked out of class for not being quiet".
Standing seems like a fine and arbitrary way to have everyone to be respectful. Stand and be quiet , thats fine. But people will always push the envelope, whatever it is. So there in lies the rub.
