Zab Judah, Lamont Peterson and "The Swamp Donkey" Tonight ESPN2
Zab Judah 148 vs Edwin Vasquez 148
Adam "The Swamp Donkey" Richards 226 vs Rafael Pedro 247
Lamont Peterson 140 vs Frankie Santos 139
Greatest nickname in boxing is Adam "The Swamp Donkey" Richards he is a top 100 heavyweight maybe as good as Malcolm Tann, plus he has a great first name.
But tonight is really about Judah, as he looks to finally get into the win collum. Once again he has to impress here for people to think he still deserves a big fight. I'm sure Cintron and Williams would love to face him as it means a huge payday.
Lastly, we have one half of espn's favorite boxing brother duo. Lamont is a pretty smooth boxer, though he lacks the punch of his brother. The fights start at 10:30 but since it follow college football it could be a while since we hear the first bell.

Zab by dice game violence.
And when I see a nickname like "Swamp Donkey" I have to wonder where it came from...

It wasn't the greatest fight ever, Zab seemed pretty tentative, apparently he was wanting to get in some rounds, he picked up the pace in the 8th round with some showboating and taunting Vasquez to come at him. But he slowed back down in the 9th and 10th round, I mean he looked good it just seemed like he could have finished Vasquez if he had really poured it on him. He actually lost a couple rounds due to inactivity, but won a clear cut unanimous decision.
Peterson just out classed Santos and broke him down with body punches and great defense. Santos quit on his stool after the 5th round I think it was. Peterson looked really good, but he was fighting a punching bag so it's hard to get much from it.
Richards vs. Pedro was a wild fight, pretty exciting. Richards was closing the distance and working over the much taller Pedro on the inside. Pedro showed he had no class, getting frustrated and hitting after referee break-ups, almost clocked the ref a couple times. He just kept doing it over and over again untill the ref had seen enough and stopped the fight, Richards won on a DQ.

Pedro = Bully. Can't handle somebody stepping up to him. Swamp Donkey looked decent.

Really? I lost all respect for Casal after he tested positive for Coke, and he has wasted his talent. Nice to see he was in a good fight even if he lost.
