Love the stories of past beatdowns. My most interesting fight happened when I was visiting my brother in africa (botswana) last year. I was walking home from a bar and decided to stop in to stop at another bar along the way and say hi to the owner who is a friend of mine. It was pretty much exclusively a local bar, meaning I was the only white guy in there. That didnt really bother me cause I had grown up in that town and figured i could handle myself. Anways, I had a few more drinks with my friend Tony at the bar decided to head home. On my way out the door i felt a hand slip into my pocket, fishing for my wallet. The pickpocket wasnt very good at what he did because I grabbed his wrist and started cussing him out really loudly in front of everyone. I think the guy at first just wanted to dissapear but as soon as a crowd started forming he started chirping back at me. It was then I realized that this probably wasnt the best place to pick a fight but it was too late to back down at that point. The fight itself went pretty much in my favor until i felt someone in the crowd grabbing at me and trying to steal my wallet. I of course dropped my hands to protect my money (and Ipod) in my pocket and the guy rushed me and took me down. Now im on the floor using both hands to protect my pocket with my valuables, the guy im fighting stops trying to hit me and instead bites my neck. To be honest I always thought that being bitten would hurt alot more, but maybe at that point adrenaline had taken over. Anyways my buddy Tony finally reaches me through the crowd and pulls me out of it.

Final tally: shirt and shorts ripped to shit, bruises on my body, and an ugly looking wound on the back of my neck that required shot of penicillin.

Two weeks later my Ipod stopped working. I still have a crescent shaped scar on the back of my neck.

Seriously. I've been working on my technique against the heavy bag for years, and last time I put on the gloves I got sat on my ass in less than 20 seconds. To be fair this was against a guy who had amateur experience, with gloves that couldn't have been more than 6 ounces, and I was drunk and blunted.

People getting ko'd can be pretty damn funny. One of my friends used to get in fights all the time, hilarious one sided fights, when he was drinking and everyone kept telling him he was too old to be acting like that. Long story short, some wrestler choked him out a couple of weeks ago and stomped on him a bunch of times. lol, he earned it.

I have been ko'd playing hockey, falling out of a tree and fighting a white trash kid who was way bigger than me.
