Should Margarito lose...
I know, I know. Probably the last thread title you'd think I'd post. (because, in reality , he's gunna whoop a trick)
Here's the deal. Top Rank has come out and said should Williams beat Tony, there will be no unification with the WBO title. Instead he will vouch to fight Kermit Cintron in a blockbuster Puerto Rican fight, and if that isn't made.... It's Josh Clottey.
So of the two, Which do you feel would do better against Cotto. Also, you think either would have a decent chance of detroning him?
My Opinion, Cintron would have a very live chance, and Clottey would get ate up and stopped.

Really? Maybe but I can't get over Cintron getting steamrolled in his only big fight.

I just think that Clottey has more holes in his game.

I compare both of their fights with Margarito. I think Cintron is the harder puncher and better offensive fighter, but we haven't seen him in with anyone who can hurt him since the Margarito fight, where he showed major holes in his defense and little resilience. Clottey has at least shown that he can get beat on and fire back.

Estrada didn't hurt Cintron?

Cintron's chin is fine, it's his constitution that's questionable. Estrada was a decent test for him and I thought he weathered it well.

Clottey is a like a big block of granite witha decent speed and good technique. I think he's got the characteristics to have a chance against Cotto.

Shit he might have, which makes me think even less of Cintron.
