They wouldn't have it if the two biggest stars weren't in it.

It would have to be another division that has good fighters, and none had huge egos. 140 would be a good place. Bradley, Salita, Maidana, Khan, Marquez, Campbell, Holt, and Urango.

Khan would walk away with it, but there would be some good action fights.
Holy shit man, you have quite the hard on for Khan. To the point that your posts sound delusional.

I do like Khan, probably more so than any other fighter today (and I'm not even Muslim!). The kid has all the potential in the world, minus the chin (which makes him more exciting to watch). He's tasted defeat early in his career and already knows what it's like to be a superstar, which he is in his country. Now that he is where he is, he knows what it takes. Khan working with Roach and moving to LA will do great for his career. People will open their eyes to Khan when he absolutely thrashes Kotelnik, who is a very good jr welterweight.

He's going to be at the top of people P4P lists in a few years along with Rigondeaux, Juanma, and Donaire. And he will be one of the biggest stars in America. He'll be headlining on a big network before he is 23, earlier than Hatton, Calzaghe, Lewis, and Hamed.

I see that Taylor vs Abraham will be October 10 in Germany, and Dirrell vs Froch will be the same day in England. I'm guessing Showtime will just delay them both and go back to back. First night right there is better than most HBO PPVs.

And Kessler is coming to Oakland on November 7 to face Ward. I hope that black guy who called Taylor vs Froch and does Strikeforce does these fights. I'd like his enthusiasm and voice.

Hey 5 (or any other person from the Bay Area), can Ward vs Kessler sell out the Oracle?

That's only if Khan doesn't get his chin shattered by Maidana.

If he fights like an excited puppy, like he has shown before, he won't finish the fight on his feet. If he boxes smart and executes Roach's game plan he will win every round.

The combined record of all the fighters in this tournament is 161-4-1. Taylor has 3 of the loses and the draw. Yikes!

That's because Ward and Dirrell haven't been exposed yet

I understand, i'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything. He could end up being great, but don't you think it's a little crazy to assume he would beat all of those fighters you listed in the "140 tournament" so soon? Let's see how he deals with another hard hitter, or the top fighters in that weight class before we jump to any conclusions. Especially against some of the fighters you listed such as: Marquez, Campbell, Hatton, Holt, Maidana, etc.

I'm all for people fully supporting their favorite fighters though.

Taylor is still a good fighter. He just underestimates the nonathletic white guys.

I'd be so happy if the guy won the tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if he did either, it's any body's to take.
