Rumor: Seminole Warriors out of business

So word is spreading that Seminole Warrior's is out of business. They put on some excellent shows, including the Cloud/Woods ESPN Finale that was possibly the best FNF card of the year. This is very sad news to me. I loved all the Seminole Hard Rock Cards. I guess Glen Johnson, Celestino Caballero, Juan Urango, & many others will be free agents soon. . . I heard maybe they'll keep their fighters but just not put on any more shows. That'd be tough work though, because then all we'd see is Seminole Warrior's guys being bought in as opponents. . . I'm not sure exactly what's happening, but it's definitely unlikely of Seminole Warriors to not have anything scheduled especially when their last show was over 2 Months Ago. I've heard a few different stories.

It appears to be true. Bad smoke signals from Seminoles: Warriors Boxing kaput

The venue is fantastic what a shame, not a bad seat in the house. I guess other promoters will use it but not with the same frequency.

A lot of people (who should know better) ruin Boxing Promotion for themselves. Fernando Vargas had his "When Worlds Collide" tournament here, and in it's face it looked fantastic. Buffalo Bill's Star Arena is a nice venue, and it was never empty for Fight nights. Problem was they gave away more tickets than they sold, the pricing was messed up, and the marketing just wasn't that good.

It's tough to make money in the Fight Game when you spend money in the wrong places, and also don't get everyone involved to work on selling. If I sign to Fight and people close to me know it, I make sure everyone knows free tickets are not good, because if they don't pay, I don't eat. If every Fighter on the card did that, they'd build audiences better, and if they spent more money on advertising as opposed to production, the word would get out more. Small Boxing shows here even stupidly compete with one-another, putting on events on the same nights. It's ridiculous.
