Rivera calls out Margarito!

"WBA super welterweight champion "El Gallo" Jose Rivera has called out WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito, who went public about his frustration over a lack of fighters willing to fight him. "How can you be the most feared fighter in the world?" asks Rivera in a statement. "I've made it well known several times that I'll fight you for my WBA super welterweight title. Just name the time and place, as long as the deal is right....I must be the most feared super welterweight in the world because none of the top 154-pounders like De La Hoya, Cory Spinks and Mosley want a piece of me." Rivera works fulltime as a court officer and says he wants $1 million to fight Margarito"


These guys have similar records and problems. Rivera is not quite the payday that Margarito would get with any of the other bigger names out there though.

Rivera is one of the most underrated boxers out there right now. After his last dramtic fight I feel that he definetly deserves the spotlight.
