my dad showed me both pryor fights last month when i told him was starting to get into the sport of boxing (mma fan since the early 2000's), such an amazing fighter with an extreme amout of heart, i called my dad as soon as he found out and he started choking up a bit

ill admit i dont know what he truely means to the sport but i know he gave me and my father both pleasure from his fights and he will be missed in our household and around the world

Whoa, genuinely sad news. I am truly numb at hearing this. I really loved his fights.

RIP Alexis

The story behind this "suicide" seems fishy. I hope it gets sorted out.

That was a classic battle, Pryor had one hell of a chin, Alexis hit him with some big shots most fighters would have been KO'ed

I seem to be having a hard time finding all the right words to say about Alexis' passing.

I can only pay my respects and voice my appreciation for one of the greatest ambassadors the sport's has ever known.

"This is what a champion should be" is a common phrase when discussing Alexis' career. It was what my father said to me right before he sat me down to watch my first Arguello fight.

There will never be another El Flaco Explosivo, but he will forever remain in the memories of those who where privileged enough to watch him fight. Thank you Alexis, for everything.
