I've been watching Porter since the 2007 National Golden Gloves, which he won. He lost in the Olympic trials to Daniel Jacobs (another guy I like). He's currently 10-0 (8 KOs). He's been fighting at 154-160, but says he can make 147. He's fast and powerful, especially in his left hand. Pacquiao brought him into his current camp as a sparring partner. And he was featured on an MTV show called "Made" along with his father training a boxer.
Here are some videos of him at Wild Card. Roach thinks he's pretty good.

Porter is a good prospect but how many top quailty fighters can one man train.Hope steward rebuilds the kronx soon
Roach doesn't handle much of Porter's training. He's from Cleveland, Ohio, and has been trained by his father, who still trains him today. Only recently (last few months) has he been living and training in LA at Wild Card.
