Pacquiao vs. Mayweather at Cowboys Stadium in March?
That's what they're negotiating. Looking ahead are we?

Is he completely dismissing Pacquiao vs. Mayweather? Arum pisses me off.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum is not looking too far ahead but in the event Manny Pacquiao gets past Miguel Cotto on Nov. 14, the Hall of Fame promoter said a fight in a brand-new stadium being used by the Dallas Cowboys is a candidate to host the Filipino’s first fight in 2010. Arum said that while Las Vegas is a front-runner in staging a major boxing card, Dallas is keen in hosting a major show in its 50,000-seat venue and Pacquiao could be lined up to face Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico in a third meeting there on March 13, 2010. The main supporting fight will feature Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., said Arum. But if Cotto wins against Pacquiao, Arum said the most sensible thing to do is to bring Cotto back to New York in June 2010–in time for the annual Puerto Rican Independence Day celebrations–for a huge show at Yankee Stadium.

Arum's been dropping hints about a fight at Yankee Stadium for the last few years.
And Cowboys Stadium seats a lot more than 50,000. They had over 100,000 in there for a football game this year, and with boxing thousands more would be on the field.

Dallas Cowboys, Top Rank discuss fights at Cowboys Stadium - ESPN Dallas
Quote:
IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys officials have held preliminary discussions with boxing promoter Bob Arum about bringing a fight to new Cowboys Stadium.
Arum said he would like to bring a main-event doubleheader featuring pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao possibly next May to the Cowboys' new $1.2 billion palace.
Arum said possible opponents for Pacquiao include Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez.
A potential co-feature bout would be Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. John Duddy.
Cowboys spokesperson Brett Daniels confirmed that Stephen Jones, the team vice president, spoke to Arum but said nothing has been signed.
In order for a Pacquiao fight to happen in Arlington, he would have to defeat Miguel Cotto next week in Las Vegas. If Cotto wins, Arum said he would like to bring a fight to new Yankees Stadium in June.
Arum promotes both fighers.
Arum said any fight in the new Cowboys Stadium would not take place during the NFL season.
"Everybody has been blown away by that facility," Arum said of the stadium. "The Cowboys have eight to 10 games and they want events there. Jerry has a big investment and, with the video board and the closed roof, it would be a nice event."

Fucking chavez vs duddy. If Arum did bring boxing to Cowboys Stadium, he should empty his stable for it. Pacquiao vs Mayweather is a hell of a headliner, but for 100,000 people, Pavlik or Cotto should be the co headliner.

If Pacquiao wins, he goes to Cowboy Stadium.
If Cotto wins, he goes to Yankee stadium.

Arum is not selling out Cowboys stadium if it's just pacman and/or mayweather. He needs a mexican fighter, JMM would be ideal but after getting toyed with by PBF his stock might have fallen slightly.
Would love to see Cowboys stadium sold out for a boxing match, I hope it happens. Either that or Yankees stadium.
