Oscar Diaz in critical condition after fight

The only boxing I was watching on Wednesday was the Toney-Rahman fight so I missed this but it doesn't sound good.

Any more news on Diaz? They were trading some heavy shots in that fight.

Thoughts and prayers are with him and his family and friends.

What a shame.
Has Diaz taken lots of big shots throughout his career?
This is horrible! Will he be allowed to fight again?

Surgery went well.. He is stable at the moment. They got to him quick enough that his chances for recovery are good. He will most likely never fight again, but life is more important.
I believe Paul Ingle made a full recovery from a similar injury.

I was at the Toney/Rahman fight last night and I forgot to DVR Wednesday Night Fights. Prayers and thoughts are with Diaz and his family.

It was great how the medical personnel got to him right away and got him to the hospital.

I really hope he gets better as soon as possible.

Please lord take care of him!

This shit really hurts me cause I used to see oscar diaz myspace and he seem like a guy who was so full of life.

I hope he comes out ok and if he does does not fight again.
