Oscar looked good, he alwayls offers a good performance when he uses his jab but I don't think he can beat Mayweather in the rematch tho.
About smaller guys I don't know.. He accomplished so much in his career, he fought the best, he takes a lot of risks with his 29 world bouts and I don't want to criticize him if he wants smaller guys for his last few fights.

Wow, boxing has become so lame. I used to be a fan, when it was a good sport. De La Hoya beats up on some nobody who was on a tv show and instantly is going to get another title shot? What a joke.

Yeesh... I thought Oscar looked pretty bad. The oscar that fought Forbes just might get
KOed by mayweather. Forbes was landing alot of shots, Oscar was beat up at the end of that fight.

I'm not saying Forbes won the fight or anything, but hes not a fighter on Oscars level. (or floyd's)

The ease with which Forbes was countering and slipping Oscars shots does not bode well for Oscars chances in a rematch versus Floyd.

In fact that fight was supposed to be a tune-up fight. Oscar chose Forbes to prepare for the rematch with Floyd seeing that Steve's style is arguably similar to Mayweather's ( even if Forbes is nothing compared to the p4p king).

Agree, in fact in one of my previous posts I stated Oscar won't win the rematch.
