Well, for marketing reason, I would have made a huge press tour. I would have delayed the fight til the fall of next year. But as a fan, it's awesome that the fight is so soon.

I would have thought it was a miss calculation. This hardly seems like enough time to create the "Big Build" needed for a fight of this magnitude. In fact, one of my first thoughts was that Dana White was laughing at them for making such an early date and not milking it. But you know I have not been promoting for 40 or so years like Arum. He is too sharp to have made the date without believing he could generate the numbers. I suspect he would have liked a month or two more but Manny the boxer/politician nixed that plan.
