i thought it was a VERY entertaining episode, the Music mid-fight makes it much more entertaining.

My picks to win are Grady Brewer and Steve Forbes.

I watched the first episode of season 2 and it seems like basically the same show minus Stallone and the challenges and the addition of quality fighters. I was one of the few who actually watched the first season... it was pretty mediocre.

The first fight featured good fighters. I think either of those guys could take anyone from last season, easily.

The second fight was just like last season... a bunch of windmill punches basically equating to a street fight.

I didn't like that the matches are once again edited... The rounds are cut down to about 30-45 seconds. So dumb. Just show us the whole fights!!!

Oh well, it could be a good season. I guess we'll see.

Those fights were the gayest shit i've ever seen. Showing just the highlights is bad enough, but whats with the fucking sound effects? Isn't that the reason a lot of people didn't give a shit about the last Contender? TUF blows this show away, its not even close. Because at least they show the actual fight, and don't try to turn the shit into a Rocky movie. Seriously, sound effects and slow motion? What the fuck?

the show is still too syrupy for me. it feels contrived. i'll still watch it but TUF is much better.

i watched its for a little while....then the Highlight effects got to me, ended up popping in Jorge castro Vs Action Jackson instead....

I liked it. I think that their decision to not show entire fights will eventually lead to me not watching anymore. I think TUF is WAY MORE EXCITING, but I guess this is the next best thing. I don't watch boxing often enough to know to know all fighters that well.

I think it was a good move on their part to bring back Jeff Raza, who had to leave the first season due to the chicken pox. I'll continue to watch until I get tired of not seeing entire fights. But, that can also be a good thing.

i feel bad for ebo elder. remember that INSANE war he had on his last showtime appearance. i thought, "wow, this guy could make some big bucks off of pure excitement alone!", then blam, there he is, on the reality show.
