Heartbreaking too - Regarding the Batte for the Bronze - seeing Bravo take shots from Bundrage constantly and having no solution for the right hand was depressing, especially considering how much pride he has and how obligated he feels to keep fighting to provide a better life for his family. He just kept walking into the bombs taking damage, and knowing him he would have kept taking it had the referee not did the right thing by stopping it from going on. He was obviously over-powered by the naturally bigger K-9, and it was unbearable to see his family visibly shattered by the stoppage.
Regardless, Bravo's still my Hero and has me inspired.......

oh, i wouldnt think too much of it Steve,.,,, Bravo will be back regardless...and K-9 most likely wont.
As long as you can gather the mexican fanbase, youll always have a chance at a big pay day.
Id like to see bravo again if at all possible... k-9 i could care less about.
Hell Manfredo lost quite a bit on the show and during the Live events , and he's still making dough these days off his Contender name .

I would say K-9 has the brighter future in boxing compared to Bravo. As long as K-9 keeps improving and learns to fight inside better he could go somewhere. You need more than a mexican fanbase to get a big pay day.

John Ruiz Jr aint going to go anywhere, who the hell wants to see a K-9 fight?!
and you know damn well all you need is to be a popular Mexican fighter to get a "decent" payday... i shouldnt have used "big payday". but at least a Decent one.... an "ESPN payday"
Im telling ya shiz , Bundrage is semi Big/Strong and thats about it....and you now just as well as me, that he aint anywhere NEAR the top of the BIG WW or junior MW's. you gotta be HUGE to mess with that weight class and fight his style.

Alright, "decent" payday I agree with. I know he probably wont go anywhere near my boy Paul Williams anytime soon. He'll probably up his game from where he is currently standing though. I think he has he potential to be a good journeyman. I'm not sure that Norby has as bright of a journeyman future.

You're absolutely right, though as much as we'd love to see Bravo back in action I have to admit that if he was my Dad out there I'd be extremely hesitant to let him keep doin' the damn thing after such a loss unless he showed me he can make the appropriate changes and adapt. I must give K-9 props, though he was really basic he did look sharp, with tons of power, speed & snap in his punches. And last night his confidence was undeniable.
I just pray it was a rare "off" night for Nito, or perhaps he'd be better off fighting at 140?
