he's only just turned 25, he's still a young guy. And the only problems that I've heard of with him are constant hand injuries. Are you implying he's been moved along slow by his handlers for some other reason? Like a glass jaw or something?

Man , I just don't know SSR. I've been following Kelly for about 2 years now, and i've noticed he seems to lose focus far too often and gets sloppy . Not sure wether its from being hurt or simply letting his opponent frustrate him. (against his current competition, neither is acceptable IMO)
I guess my reasoning behind thinking his handlers know something we dont, is the guy can't make MW for long. At almost 6'3 and around 200lbs walking , its just not possible. So why toss away his best years @ MW fighting guys from the youngstown OH, YMCA? It's not like he's improved leaps and bounds over 3 years, he's basically the same HUGE MW he's always been.

I don't see Pavlik taking this one. Miranda has the handspeed advantage and although both guys get hit a lot, this is a huge step up in competition for Pavlik. I think Miranda has more power too, so we'll see.

Pavlik is overrated and Miranda is going to annihilate him.

Good points, I've seen him fight 3 or 4 times and I do see the same thing, that he gets sloppy and seemingly frustrated pretty easily. However, I attribute a lot of his stalled progress to a boatload of nagging hand injuries, I believe he's had surgery more than once.
Either way, Pavlik/Miranda is a fight i'm looking forward to very much. Tops everything on the horizon except DLH/Mayweather in my book.

Pavlik has looked impressive against limited opposition, which doesn't mean much. If Miranda is aggressive, I'm not sure how well Kelly will do going backward. Pavlik has to fight the perfect fight IMO, keep it outside. We'll see if his power is enough to keep Miranda off. That said, Miranda has enough flaws to make it interesting.

But thats whats going to make this great! ^ Kelly is HUGE (bout 4 inches taller) and fights fairly well off his back foot. He seems to get most power at full extension.
My big question is....how does the guy who seemingly loses focus, deal with Pantera's dirty ass fighting style ? ahahha.
Good fight for both guys, Pavlik is a solid contender for the MW class, and either is on the verge of getting a title shot.
