The Miranda Vs Pavlik thread

Ok everyone, my favorite weight cutting 6'2 MW is fighting my favorite dirty fightin' power puncher. At this stage, i think Miranda is the obvious favorite... but anyone think Pavlik hits hard enough to get Miranda out of there? .....*quiet whisper* ....cuz i do......

This fight is very close to call I don't want to give a prediction yet but I'm leaning towards Miranda but I've always been a Pavlik fan.

I like both fighters.

Pavlik's problem in this fight is going to be keeping his composure. I think if he lets his temper get the better of him then he's toast. Otherwise I think he's got the skill-set to give Pantera trouble. Despite a terrible performance, Allan Green showed for a moment that Pantera is a little too big-headed for his own good at this point. Ended up on his ass for it.

We know Pavlik will be more agressive and have better endurance than Green, but has Pavlik ever been tested? There has to be a reason it has taken him this long to move up, Miranda is his first top 15 opponent and he is probally in the top 3. Since he is outgunned in the power department, Pavlik's best chance is to outbox Miranda.

I'm not totally sold on Pavlik or his one punch power yet (despite his impressive KO record). Still though, Miranda talks so much crap I just can't stand him, I'm hoping Pavlik lands the bomb on Pantera first!

all good posts, with good reasoning behind them.

Miranda has beaten guys with a pulse unlike Kelly.

Also the question we have brought up for awhile now is, whats wrong with Kelly that would make his handlers wait until now to test him?...... I think its his composure like King said, and if he loses it at any point in the middle rounds, he gets our gunned and roughed up to his first loss....

Still , Miranda is a pretty open fighter who could seemingly have trouble from a good outside fighter like Pavlik.... I'll be waiting on this one!!!
