Mayweather vs. Margarito

the fight seems to be taking shape. Supposedly Arum has the money together and they're waiting on Mayweather to agree, Brian Kenny said this on FNF just now. For the longest time i've said that if anyone has a good chance in beating Mayweather, it's Margarito. Personally, I think this is a very dangerous bout for Mayweather and he's gonna have to work every second of this fight, so much so I dont' think u can really pick him as a clear favorite. Margarito is a big guy who punches like a machine and is really tough. Mayweather won't be able to stay in the pocket up close like he's done against Margarito b/c he'll just get banged up

I see this goin like Mayweather-Corrales, in the fact that Mayweather is constantly moving and when he's cornered quickly hop away. Margarito tho won't just wait for the one punch and is gonna let fly w/ his punches constantly...............at least if he's smart and not try and think he's too big and can just land one punch but i dont' think so. Margarito doesn't have the caliber of opponents like Floyd, but his style presents all kinds of trouble for PBF.

i'd say this is a toss-up. If Floyd has indeed started to "use less technique" as some have stated, he'll lose this fight in only relying on his reflexes.

I think Brian Kenny said this Tuesday @ 9 if I'm not mistaken. I hope that is the case because I was kicking myself after missing it the first time around.

i guess he just repeated it tonight.

and if u missed it, in teh HW fight, Sykes was TKO'd and then started to walk around outside the ring near the crowd still in La La Land. lol, boxing is just great.

Call me skeptical, but I'm not going to believe Floyd is going to fight Margarito until someone says his name has been inked who isn't a huge liar.

I just don't see him doing it. Of course Margarito would sign, he needs a name like Floyd to fight and has just as many advantages on paper as Floyd does. But until Floyd's name has been inked, I'm still going to consider it fantasy at best.

If it does happen you know I'm going with PBF all the way the only big challenge I see for him right now is Ricky Hatton only beause of his style and ability to take punches.

lol As if Tony has no chin. Tony has been hit by MUCH bigger punchers than Ricky has faced. He also has an insane workrate for a big Welter.
