Charley Burley v. Barney Ross
Round 1
Both fighters are measuring each other and neither one is doing much. Ross takes a few wild swings here and there but can't find the mark. Burley is not doing much either. As the round comes to a close, the two men are posturing and the fans are quick to voice their displeasure.

Round 2
Ross has come out swinging from the bell in this round, managing to connect a couple of jabs and an uppercut. The action slows down considerably during mid-round, with both fighters clinching a lot. Ross has a late flurry in the final seconds and should easily win this round as Burley didn't do much but dance around for three minutes

Round 3
Ross again comes out swinging this round and is clearly landing the majority of his punches. Burley retaliates but Ross is starting to land at will. There is some swelling underneath Burley's right eye. Looks like another good round for "The Pride of the Ghetto."

Round 4
It's Burley who now brings the action to Ross, landing a good combination that staggers Barney. Barney's mouth is now bleeding! Both fighters are going at it, while Burley's eye seems to be getting worse. Burley finishes off the round with a solid combination.

Both fighters are fighting defensively on this round, staying away from one another. The round is up for grabs at this point. As the round comes to a close, Burley lands a couple of shots

Round 6
Barney's corner hasn't been able to stop the bleeding on his mouth, nevertheless, Ross comes out aggressively. Both fighters are starting to trade with Burley coming out on top more often than not. The commentating crew sees the fight going Barney's way.

The two fighters are leaning on one another. Burley is letting go now! He is counterpunching Barney's wild shots beautifully. The crowd is cheering for Burley. Burley easily wins the round

Ross looks distraught out there. Ross catches a left hook to the face and is starting to swell underneath his right eye. Burley scores a four punch combination!
Ross is clinching now. Burley appears to be pulling away comfortably.

Ross knows that he's behind and starts swinging wildly. It looks like Ross and Burley are starting to fatigue. Not much action going on in this round

Burley seems content in this round to just retreat. Ross is chasing Burley around. Ross has landed a couple of good shots, but Burley is moving nicely. Ross land a couple of hard punches as the round comes to a close

The clinching continues over to this round. "El Feo" lands a couple more of low blows...and, what's this...the referee has deducted a point from Rodriguez! Britton is trying to capitalize on the opportunity and lets his hands go. Jack reels backwards at the end of the round from what looked like a head butt! The referee didn't like that and goes over to the corner of El Feo during the break to warn his corner.

"EL Feo" is boxing beautifully at the start of this round, firing off jabs at will, but Britton seems to be keeping pace. Not much action other than that. Once more, Rodriguez is warned, this time for holding

Round 7
"El Feo" comes out strong, but Jack has an answer for him. Britton is letting his hands go. Rodriguez is turning this into a wrestling match. Luis is told by the referee to let go, but decides to rabbit punch Britton! The referee rules the foul to be blatant! He's disqualifying El Feo!!

Round 1
Great round of boxing as Robinson starts comes out scorching, landing multiple combinations. What looked like a one-sided affair quickly turned around as Walker
finished the round with a strong rally himself.

Both fighters come out swinging, but Sugar Ray is getting the better of the two. The fighters are measuring each other. Another good round for Walker, but a great one for Ray

It looks like Walker's right eye is swelling a bit. Walker is throwing punches like a madman and he's got Robinson in trouble! "The Toy Bulldog" is landing vicious uppercuts and hooks and Robinson is retreating. The fight has completely turned around! Robinson escapes the onslaught as the bell sounds.

Round 4
Sugar Ray comes out boxing beautiful this round, landing jabs and countering Walker's off the mark punches. Robinson is now targeting Walker's swollen right eye. Walker's corner is shouting at him to be more aggressive, but Robinson is clinching every time Mickey tries to get a rally going. Sugar Ray lands a couple of combinations and seems to be winning this round comfortably.

Round 5
Walker is not backing down and keeps attacking Robinson, landing wicked body shots and hard crosses. A dominant round for Mickey as Sugar couldn't do anything to get going.

Round 6
This bout keeps going back at forth, and now it seems to be Robinson's turn to do the damage. Ray is jabbing away at Mickey's left eye, which has turned into a ugly mess as the swelling worsens. In spite of that, Walker lands four unanswered punches! Both fighters clinch to grab a breather. Robinson takes back control of the round by landing powerful combinations and moving gracefully around the ring. Sugar Ray finishes the round with a strong flurry.

Round 7
Robinson is bobbing and weaving, making it difficult for Walker to land a clean shot. Robinson is now landing at will while Walker seems to have lost his range. Robinson has a near flawless round.

Round 8
Walker is keeping his relentless forward motion, but Sugar Ray is picking him off with a nice combination of punches. Robinson is throwing punches in bunches, and Mickey's right eye seems to be shut now. The action stops as both fighters start clinching

It looks as if Walker is going to need a knockout to win this fight. Nice exchange of punches in the middle of the round. Another strong round for Sugar Ray.

Robinson is content with staying away from Walker in this round. Sugar Ray holds on to Walker every time he comes forward. Walker keeps the pressure on but just can't land the big shot. Mickey's work rate seems to have earned him this round.

Holding match for the first minute of the round so far. Even though there are a few exchanges, not much action going on. The crowd voices their displeasure at the

Ryan's corner is telling him to step it up. Ryan lands a cross followed by a crushing uppercut. Corbett comes back with some shots of his own. Pretty even round, with maybe a slight edge to Tommy.

Both fighters missing the mark. Again, not much action going on. A bit of a boring fight right now. Having said that, the round ends in a flurry of punches between both fighters. Another round too close to call. It will be interesting to see how the judges scored it if this fight indeed goes to a decision.

Round 5
No blood, no bruises, and no swelling. These guys look fresh halfway through the fight. A lot of misses by both fighters, but Ryan seems to be connecting the most between the two. Even fight at this point

Corbett is using good head feints and landing the jab. He scores a few punches unanswered until Ryan tangles his arm. Tommy looks frustrated and is warned for hitting after the break by the referee. Corbett is counterpunching nicely Ryan's wild swings and seems to be running away with this round easily.

Round 7
Ryan keeps missing badly but manages to land a good combination. Corbett answers with the jab. Both fighters are now exchanging flurries. This is the round of the match so far. As the round comes to a close, these guys are really going at it! Another close round in the books. This fight could go either way.

Round 8
Ryan's corner still yelling at him and telling him to be more aggressive. Ryan doesn't look like he has much left and starts clinching. Corbett looks like he came out on top in the eight round as well

Ryan, maybe sensing that he's losing the fight, comes out more aggressive. Unfortunately for him, Corbett is counterpunching him beautifully. Ryan gets a few shots in and Corbett clinches. Ryan once again comes in low but Corbett puts him in a headlock while the referee pries them apart. The crowd is letting them hear it. After a good start, the round has turned into a wrestling match. Once again, no clear cut winner on this round either.

Round 10
Amazingly enough, Corbett is being more aggressive this round and is motioning Ryan to bring it on. Ryan has no sense urgency and is looking like he's taking the round off. Corbett worked the jab well in this round and scored with some good combinations. Flawless round for Corbett.

Breland's corner seemed agitated with Mark, who stared at his shoes almost the entire minute between rounds. Benitez is now scoring at will, with a variation of jabs and quick combos. Breland steals a quick glance at his corner. Both fighters are clinching now. Breland comes on strong at the end but it was maybe too little too late.

Benitez scores a couple of crushing uppercuts inside and seems to be in cruise control right now. Breland keeps bringing the action and scores with a nice cross.
"The Radar" lands another hard uppercut that spins Breland wildly into the ropes! The bell sounds and Breland manages to survive another round.

Benitez is pitching a shutout so far in this fight. Benitez is showboating a little and switches to Southpaw and immediately back to the Orthodox stance. Wilfred evades a flurry of punches by Breland. Benitez going back to work the jab and the quick combinations.

More of the same pattern as Benitez lands crisp jabs while slipping Breland's punches. Breland lands a straight right that pushes Benitez back! McGirt is boxing beautifully, moving side to side and in and out. DLH lands a cross that worsens McGirt's eye, but Buddy is still coming out on top of their exchanges. McGirt is starting to land the jab consistently and that might have been enough to win him this round.

McGirt seems to be the aggressor tonight as he's landing powerful crosses and combinations that DLH has no answer for. DLH is now resorting to clinching and looks like he's starting to gas. Best round of the fight so far for McGirt

Both men are being cautious at the start of this round. Taylor is told to keep his punches up. McLarnin manages to get inside and land a short uppercut. McLarnin lands two unanswered shots. The last shot has opened a nasty wound on Taylor's left eyelid. Taylor's bleeding profusely. The fighters jockey back and forth but the referee calls a timeout. He's going to have the ringside physician take a look at the cut...
The fight is allowed to continue...
Taylor is backpedaling and staying out of harm's way. McLarnin catches him with a shot that gets the blood flowing. Taylor's pawing at his eye since there might be some trickling into it. The referee notices and stops the action as he motions for the ringside physician once more. They're taking a closer look at the cut...

Great first round as both fighters come out swinging! Napoles came out on top on most of those exchanges with some vicious combinations to the head & body of Ike. Strong round for "Mantequilla"

Napoles is tagging Quartey with ease now, moving behind the jab and following through with good power shots. Quartey doesn't seem to have an answer in this round. "Mantequilla" lands a couple of crushing uppercuts inside and stuns Quartey! There already appears to be some minor swelling in Ike's right eye. Napoles goes back to work and lands a violent shot under Quartey's ribcage that drops down Quartey on both knees!

Round 1
Good action as both fighters come out swinging. Walcott is working well on the inside while Basilio is scoring some solid punches. Both fighters are circling one another, trying to get the slightest advantage. Walcott lets his hands go and lands some solid punches. Basilio answers back with a couple of wild swings, but can't connect. The fighters nod at each other as the bell rings

Basilio starts moving better this round, scoring with his jab and overhand right. Walcott looks somewhat plodding as he tries to chase Basilio down. Basilio cuts loose with a combo, that even though it doesn't hurt Joe, scores points. Good round for "The Upstate Onion Farmer"

Round 3
Walcott pins Basilio in a corner and lands a three-punch combination. Basilio not doing much this round but backpedaling. "The Demon" manages to get inside once more and connects with a jolting uppercut. Walcott is putting his punches together well in this round.

Both fighters are flailing away in this round, but it seems that Walcott is winning the exchanges. A lot of clinching in this round, as Walcott is trying to get position on
the inside. "The Demon" bangs a good uppercut home at the end of the round

Walcott continues to work well on the inside, banging uppercuts to the neck and chest of Basilio. Basilio answers with a volley of punches, and at least one scores cleanly. Basilio is content with fighting on the inside with Walcott, but he's coming up on the losing end of that strategy.

Round 6
Walcott goes back to what has been working for him so far, coming in and banging the uppercut home. Basilio is trying to smother Walcott everytime he comes in, grabbing his arms and leaning on him. Walcott pushes Basilio off and lands a hard combination. Basilio looks like he's losing his legs, as he just seems to be standing there, inviting Joe to come in.

Basilio is giving Walcott a lot of side-to-side movement and tying up Walcott when he gets close. The referee is earning his paycheck tonight. The two men are bumping heads as they wrestle on the inside. Both fighters are landing short hooks and combinations. Close round.

Both fighters are throwing but Walcott is scoring more than Basilio. As it has been the case this whole fight, Walcott is landing solid uppercuts on the inside. As the round comes to a close, both fighters continue to wing shots!

Basilio is landing more punches now, but Walcott is right there with him. Neither of these fighters has heard of a jab! Basilio wraps his arms around Walcott and complains that Walcott is using his shoulder. The referee agrees. Another close round in the books.

The fighters touch up gloves in the middle of the ring as the 10th and final round begins. Walcott lands and throws, what else, a nice, short uppercut that scores to the jaw of Basilio. Basilio counters with some good punches of his own. Some more holding going on in this round. Both fighters are throwing but it looks like Basilio is getting the better of Walcott in this round. There's the bell and this contest is in the books. Both fighters act as if they've won. We'll just have to wait for the judge's decision.

F. Trinidad v. A. Smith
Round 1
Both fighters look a little bit anxious as they are winging wild shots and missing badly. Trinidad lands a couple of good uppercuts but Smith answers back with a couple of hooks of his own. The referee is telling Smith to quit using his elbows. Smith lands a crushing strong right to Trinidad's jaw. Good round of action.

Smith is smothering Trinidad's attack as he gets some shots inside. Felix can't seem to find his range in the early going. He keeps firing away though, and lands a three-punch combination that rocks Smith. Trinidad's corner is urging him on. Felix misses wildly as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
The fight has turned into a wrestling match, as Smith keeps holding Tito. These two are going at it! Tito lands a couple of strong crosses but Smith fires back with a vicious combination of his own. The fighters continue the action as the bell rings, forcing the referee to step in between the two.

Round 4
Once again, these two are going at it! Smith is landing beautiful combinations but Trinidad has the answer with some strong crosses and left hooks of his own. The crowd is literally screaming in approval as the two fighters head to their corners after a sizzling round of action.

Round 5
Trinidad lands a damaging cross and has hurt Smith early in the round. Trinidad is chasing Smith around but can't find the range with his punches and finish him out. It appears as if there's some swelling in Smith's left eye from that vicious shot he took. Smith manages to get out alive of the round by clinching and running.

Round 6
Both fighters are landing hard shots in the middle of the ring. Now, they start hugging in each other. There's another exchange once more, with neither fighter coming out on top. As the round comes to a close, both fighters continue to wing shots. Another close round with good action.

Both fighters are measuring one another in this round. Trinidad reels backward from what looked like a head butt! There's now some noticeable swelling under Tito's left eye. Tito scores with a tremendous left, and the swelling under Smith's eye is getting worse. Great round for Tito as he finishes with a devastating combination!

Round 8
Both fighters clinching a lot in this round. Smith is starting to counter Tito's shot for the most part, but Trinidad is still scoring the bigger punches. Both fighters have noticeable swelling around their eyes. This has been quite a battle.

Tito pounds away with two shots to the body, followed by a crushing right. Smith clinches. The referee cautions "Mysterious Billy" about leaning on Tito's neck. Trinidad is now teeing off on Smith, and the swelling under Smith's left eye can't get much worse as it has now ballooned into a major problem. Felix Trinidad lands punch after punch! The referee leaps between the two fighters! It's over! Trinidad wins on a TKO in Round 9!

Round 1
A lot of posturing in the early goings. Sugar Ray starts to work the jab and landing punches behind it. Griffith fires back with a strong right. Leonard missing wildly at the end of the round.

Griffith comes out scoring combinations to the head and body of Leonard. Ray answers back with a few shots of his own. Emile scores with a strong cross that staggers Leonard. Good round for Griffith.

A flurry of punches is exchanged, but Griffith comes out on top. Griffith continues to let his hands go while Leonard seems content to hold. Emile tries to double on the hook to the body and at least one gets through. Leonard is not doing much at this stage.

Griffith is once again putting the pressure, landing a couple of power shots. Leonard's corner is shouting at him to be more aggressive. Griffith lands another right, this one off the forehead of Sugar Ray. Leonard is doing absolutely nothing at this point. There's the bell. Griffith wings a parting shot that misses. That was close!

Round 5
Leonard is trying to find the range with his punches, as his corner encourages him to pick up the action. Meanwhile, Griffith keeps scoring with the right. Leonard misses once more and Griffith counters him nicely. Griffith seems to be winning this round (and the fight) easily!

Round 6
Leonard throws a flurry of punches but none seem to connect cleanly. Griffith retaliates by landing two shots: one to the body and one to the head. That last punch by Griffith turned Leonard's legs to Jell-O! Sugar Ray does a "little dance" and is trying to regroup. Emile tries to muscle his way inside but Leonard clings to him. The referee breaks them up as the bell sounds.

Round 7
Leonard comes back nicely this round, scoring behind the jab and quick combinations. Griffith seems content with clinching. Both fighters are staying cautious, and keeping out of range. Griffith seems to have taken this round off.

Round 8
These guys are giving head feints, faking jabs, and doing everything but throwing punches at the moment. Griffith is clinching every time Leonard comes in. The worst round of the fight so far for either fighter. Hoots and hollers and cries for more action can be heard all over the arena all throughout the round. Anyone's round indeed.

Leonard delivers a wake-up call early in the round by hurting Griffith with a sharp combination! Emile was shaken by those blows! The fighters now clinch. Leonard

Leonard keeps coming forward, but is kept at bay by Griffith's stinging jabs. Emile lands a strong combination that stops Sugar Ray cold. Leonard keeps moving forward, pinning Griffith in a corner. Leonard lands a devastating combo! Emile is starting to suck wind...the bell sounds and this fight is going to the scorecards.

(Me thinks thars sumthin' fishy goin' on) Seriously though, one of the cool things about the sim is (Well, maybe not so cool for whoever the decision goes against) that just like in real life, if the fight goes the distance you are pretty much at the scoring judge's mercy. Not only that, but each judge in the sim is rated as well, and may be biased against certain styles, etc.

Round 1
Duran scores early on the inside. Zivic takes control of the round by landing some hard crosses and doubling up the hook. Zivic gets a warning for holding and hitting. Good opening round for Zivic

Duran is stepping it up, landing hard crosses and uppercuts inside. He's letting his hands go ans cores at least two hard shots to Zivic's ribcage and neck. Fritzie must have felt that one because he suddenly has a huge mouse under his right eye! Great round for Duran

Round 4
Duran is chasing Zivic, but missing wildly. Zivic counters with a strong right. Duran clinches, but the referee warns Zivic for leaning on Duran's neck. Duran looks somewhat plodding as he tries to chase down Zivic. "The Comet" makes him pay with a strong lead right.

Round 5
Duran keeps missing by a fraction, but finally lands a big one. The swelling in Zivic's eye continues to be a problem. Zivic counters nicely with a three-punch combination. Duran seems to be clinching a lot. Zivic is working the jab again and scoring.

Round 6
Duran comes out with guns blazing, landing big shots on Zivic's head. Duran is patiently and methodically cutting down the ring, targeting Zivic's swollen eye. Zivic forces his way inside and lands a hard uppercut! That punch has opened a cut on Duran. Blood is coming from the right eyelid of Duran! The referee is stopping the bout and having the ring physician examine it. The doctor peers at the wound and allows the fight to continue. Zivic comes strong at the end but it looked to be Duran's round nevertheless.

Duran's corner seem to have stopped the bleeding for now. "Manos de Piedra" goes to work by landing a stinging jab to Zivic's eye. The "Croat Comet" is clinching to prevent Duran from doing any damage. Duran lands a short, clean combo that catches Zivic flush! Zivic drops like he's been shot.

Zivic comes back strong at the start of the round, landing a couple of solid shots to the head of Duran! Duran's cut has reopened and is bleeding now heavily. The blood is trickling down and impairing his vision. The referee is notifying the timekeeper to stop the clock. He wants the ringside doctor to take a look at it again.
The doctor is not going to let it continue! The fight is being stopped!

Round 1
Slow start from both fighters. Mosley lands a couple of short uppercuts and seemed the more active of the two
