I feel like it's Pavlik's to lose because he was the one who took the fight seriously from the beginning and Taylor has had to "rededicate himself" to things to get ready for Pavlik, which to me means that he didn't think Pavlik was a threat the first time.

I personally thought he deserved the decisions over Hopkins, but they were very close fights & I can understand if some think they could've gone the other way. To add to that, a lot of fans & critics believe that you should beat a champion more decisively, especially one as dominant as Hopkins was, to take the title.
Cool, that's no reason not to like him though. It's not his fault the judges ruled those matches in his favor, he's a boxer, not a judge.

That is why Pavlik is so easy to like. He brings it every single fight and looks to finish. The fact that he is really down to earth is just icing on the cake.

Nah. I picked Taylor to KO pavlik early in the first fight, which almost came true. He can do it again.

People should be rooting for Taylor. If the second is anything like the first, why not see a third.

Some of the things he has said were pretty tough to swallow. He was very indignant about it when people mentioned Spinks beating him. He gave a crappy performance and got beat by a WW, when he gets a BS decision his response is "you have to take it from the champ", so did he take it from Hopkins? He lost both of the Hop fights, Wright, and Spinks and but shows no humility.
Pavlik would never show a crappy performance like Taylor did to Spinks, he would always come to fight, and hes much more humble. Ill be glad to be rid of Taylor.

Slightly off topic, but I hate when people say this. How do you decide when the champ has lost enough? If a fighter beats a champ by one point, did he not beat the champ enough?
