Jermaine Taylor vs Kelly Pavlik 2

There first fight was a great boxing bout. Back and fourth action entertaining action packed. Taylor had Pavlik hurt in early rounds and he just didnt finish. He let Pavlik recover and it cost him to lose via ko and lose the middle weight title. I hope there Febuary 16th rematch is as exciting as there first bout. What alot of people dont know this is really there third match the first time they fought it was early in the amauters Talylor won.

They actually talked about their amateur match alot in the pre-fight build up for the 1st match so it is fairly common knowledge. There was alot of talk from Pavliks people about how he was only 16 or 17 at the time.. so it wasn't a fair indicator of what was to come...

A reporter from boxingscene was on ESPN radio talking about this fight yesterday and told people to watch out because Jermaine has rededicated himself for this fight.

I haven't heard that before. That is all they spoke about prior to their first fight. Isolation in the Poconos, rededicated, wants to silence the critics.

The fact that this rematch is at a catch weight speaks volumes to Jermaine's dedication.

Pavlik brings it early and often and wins via KO/TKO earlier than he did in the first fight.

If I didn't hate JT so much, +170 for him is a great value bet.

Every single thing I am thinking. Especially that about the poconos stuff.

Quick fact from that same special: that camp at the poconos had never produced a fighter who lost an upcoming match. And then Pavlik does it again.

He is a big middleweight who can't put away smaller opponents.
He has no killer instinct.
He isn't exciting to watch unless he is the one being pummeled.
