I scored the fight for Mendoza, 6 rounds to 4. If Teddy Atlas gave the second round 10-8, how come he did not give the 8th round 10-8?

Overall, it was an exciting fight, but only because both had defense that was so poor and they made so many mistakes.

Marquez Vasquez was a way better technical fight.

Teddy Atlas influenced your opinion I think.

Atlas had it pretty close calling one round even and giving Mendoza a 10-8 that he didn't deserve. Thats a pretty significant points swing. Then he acts as though something is wrong when the judges give it to lacy by 2 or 3 points.

I usually like Atlas, but around the 8th round, I was thinking that if Mendoza didn't KO him, people would say he got robbed because of Atlas' scoring. That round Atlas called a 10-8 was not that onesided. No way that was a 10-8 round. Also, if the official judges are scoring rounds even like Atlas, they aren't doing their job.

Fuckin' bingo. Atlas' scoring was right the fuck out of 'er in favour of Mendoza, and he still scored it a draw. The 2nd was a 10-9 for Mendoza and the two rounds he called even I gave to Lacy. Bottom line, this was close, but Lacy deserved to win it.

And for the record, I don't know if it's a matter of Lacy skill fade or him just facing tough opponents lately. Tsypko, Manfredo, and Mendoza are all tough fighters that Lacy has found a way to beat. We'll see against JT if Lacy's still got the stuff, but I'm inclined to believe he does.

I agree with Teddy that round 9 was 10-10, I wrote it down on my paper before it showed his card.

I dont think round 2 warranted a 10-8

This fight shows why the Griffin/Rampage fight wasn't Fixed or bullshit.

97-93 to me, is a little out there. The rounds mendoza won were unquestionable wins.

Great to see an exciting fight on free TV though. This was an awesome one!

i know jeff on a personal level....his mind is fucked.worse than what happened to rampage by far.started drinking a shit load.stopped coming into the gym and even if he was there he would be hitting mitts and not feel good and leave while dan is cussing his ass out in front of everyone he is a great man and deserves everyones respect.everyone in boxing respects the hell outa jeff he is one of the most humble men on this earth....and his girl is SMOKIN lol

He does have a bad ass blond chick but shes been around for a while. He's got the drinking under control (and was doing it when he was thinking his career was over) so putting that out there now should be past tense. You know Jeff how actually?
