ya it aint bad but man if you fight like litzau does and get hit way to much how much longer can you fight? have you heard the kid talk? he sounds like he has been boxing for 20 years. His tongue is heavy and he is only in his 20's.

He needs to switch up his style big time and get with a good trainer wasnt oscar saurez in his corner or didnt he train with buddy mcgirt for a little?

He has the tools but he needs to take advantage of his reach.

He ain't good enough to take advantage of his reach to make any real money. You know why he gets paid as much as he does and gets on ESPN? Because he brawls. He has to do that to keep raking in money he otherwise wouldn't be making because he's not good enough to make it on skills. If he tried, he'd take less damage for sure, and he'll he might even win some fights he's lost or beat a C level fighter every once in a while. But he'd be fighting out of the poor house because he wouldn't be making anywhere near the money he does as a brawler on ESPN telecasts.

hey Hbo did that to Kelly pavlik and I bet you they are eating there words(he demolished the fighter they were trying to big up in Miranda). Arum had to push for pavlik to get on hbo they didnt want him.
Kelly >>>>>>>>>> Litzau. Kelly has the Amateur Background to back his standing, not to mention he's never been smoked by a Club Fighter.

His skin-tone and look doesn't hurt. Especially in that weight-division.

Whitaker has always loved a challenge. Be it taking on bigger guys, staying out of jail, keeping his nose clean, stuff like that. There's money to be made in Litzau, and Pernell knows that.

they made it sound in the telecast like Litzau cannot stick to a game plan.

Maybe some more training, a little maturity and slow development he could still go places
