You don't need riches to be happy in life you just need a purpose.
You try crashing from glory like that (especially starting when you're just a 19 year old loser from the Bronx) and being all smiles about it afterwards.

Sure falling from glory might suck, but it isn't like the guy has skin cancer or something like that. He is healthy, he seems to finally be over himself. There is no reason to feel bad for Iron Mike.

You feel bad for the guy? He has a job at a casino where he doesn't even have to really work. He gets to hang out and watch shows and talk to poeple. I bet he gets paid very well for it. I wish I had it that bad. That would be an awsome job.

Could be worse he could be doing my dishes at the local IHOP.

His life isn't that ba when compared to yours or mine so I wouldn't worry about him. Lot's of people won't even get to know what it is like to have that much money and power. Well he does, he just didn't get to keep it.

McBride never KO'd Tyson. Tyson just didn't get off his stool at the start of the 7th.

You figure he's paid well? I don't. He doesnt exactly have a lot of marketability anymore, or any job skills, or anything that might make anyone want anything to do with him aside from freakshows like this. Even if it was decent money, he's basically just humiliating himself for passer-by in a casino. That's hardly worth getting excited about.

"It could be worse" isn't a good enough reason to not empathize with someone's situation. There's lots of reasons to feel bad for this guy. If he doesnt fall in with Don King, he's likely retiring a few months ago as an undefeated champion.

I think so too. I listened to a story about the case and how he had the worst lawyers courtesy Don King. And they interviewed the jury members afterwards, and they said if they had all the information that was revealed after the case they would of found him not guilty of the rape charge.

no shit if you owned a bentley and are in financial trouble i just cant feel sorry for you.
i mean i hate hes down on his luck but hes had more chances, opportuity, and god-given talent than most on the planet if he cant figure something out and make it work thats his fault.

Tysons biggest problem was he left a trainer who cared for him and had only his best interest at heart for the Nation of Islam and Don King.

I don't feel bad for Iron Mike, i feel bad for Pride and MMA for being looked at as a freak show.

I have to agree that you cant feel sorry for the guy if he burned through 300 mil. So many useful things he could have done with that money but instead he bought a ton of worthless crap. Tyson and Michael Jackson should do some sort of a team up show in vegas since they are in the same boat.
