How effective is the 52 blocks technique? A saw Zab Judah do the hand confusion thing and any decent professional would have just launched an attack against him before he did. The hand confusion stuff might be effective if someone is hurt, but hell... If you did that shit to me and I was solid, i would throw an overhand left to smash your face in before you can even complete your trick. The whole scene looked silly.

LOL, yeah but you obviously don’t know much about the 52. It's mostly all about defense, plus the main weapon in 52 Blocks is elbows so you cant use that in a boxing match anyways. To me it looks like it's all about bobbing and weaving, ducking and dodging, lots of hand movement to throw off the other fighter, blocking with elbows and fore arms and throwing elbows from all angles. Plus it threw off PBF and he's the P4P best fighter in the world, so what makes you think it would not throw you off?

Floyd was probably thinking "WTF are you doing?" and was off his game for a total of 5 seconds and decided he wasn't going to take his shit and beat him up for the rest of the round.
From what you tell me, the striking comes at an arch and wide (obviously you can't throw a straight elbow). I would throw straight punches at an opponent if he is using 52 blocks (if it is what you described). If he is using his forearms to block (I call it the mummy cross), I would throw uppercuts at him. The whole style requires the fighter to be inside so I will keep my distance with a jab or I will bum rush him so he doesn't even have time to think.

Bro, I highly doubt either one of us have even seen somebody use 52 Blocks in a real fight or pro MMA fight so how can we even speak on it? Have you ever faught a guy that knew 52 Blocks and could use it? You seem to have all the answers but it dont mean shit until you are actualy fighting. Plus, a well rounded fighter that knew wrestling, boxing, ju jitsu, mu thia and 52 Blocks could probably use some of the 52 blocks techniques effectivly in a real fight against top comp. I'm sure it must work pretty good cuz you do have to fight for real in prison and that's where it developed nd evolved. If it did not work in a real fight I dont think people would wast their time trying to learn it. You HAVE to fight in prison and if that's where this fighting style came from it must work pretty good...

I just watched the last of the 5th round of Zab vs Mayweather. That shit definitely confused Mayweather.Zab Judah is such a waste. That dude has better physical gifts than Mayweather. Hand speed is equal but Zab's power is much better. Plus Zab is a southpaw. Judah should've been soooo great. It's too bad he doesnt have the heart or conditioning. Though I thought he showed mad heart vs Cotto.
